So i have been very much looking forward to the fall season as you all may or may not know. Fall is FINALLY here!! YAY! Laura and i decided to take sunday and spend it apple and pumpkin picking. Well we found out everyone else in the tristate area decided the exact same thing. We did the apple thing first. It was super cute, in order to get to the orchard you had to take a hayride. We had a gorgeous day. They had weird apples...well i don't know if they are actually weird but they were weird to me. There were mutsu, cameo, and stayman winesap. Those are apparently the 'in' apples at this time of the season. Yeah i don't know.
We wandered the isles picked our mutsu's and winesap's and took a nice hayride back.
We moved on to pumpkins and picked 2 beauties. Stay tuned we're going to carve them next weekend. I'm going to try to be crafty, and do something other than the age old fav pumpkin face. We'll see how it goes. Don't judge, it will be my first go at pumpkin creativity. :) A little sneak preview if you will. When Laura and i lived on Cape we went and got pumpkins and carved them as well. It's funny we don't have a picture of the 2 of us together but we do have a picture of our pumpkins!!! If you can't already tell, i'm the one on the left. I know it's tough i don't really look like myself. But on the other hand Laura is a spitting image of herself.
Thank god i'm so funny, i don't know how else i would be so entertained. :)
